We finally have our first snow day of the year today. The kids were so happy and so am I. Even got my exercise shoveling the drive way for an hour.
I wish I could say that I've been up to some fantastic things behind the scenes. Can't really claim anything overly exciting. Just living life and realizing that I will be happy when my 14 year will be able to drive. I have become a full time taxi. Even driving him in bad weather conditions over to his GF house to only get stuck on her street because the van couldn't make it back up her small hill. So it took a lot of backing up and pushing off of other people driveways that are angled down to give me a push. Oh, and some pushing from Keegan and his GF's mother that I met for the first time this morning. LOL. I gotta give her 5 stars for being so wonderful. Hubby just landed from CA and now he is driving 15 mph to weave his way home in the bad weather and just called to inform me that people are crazy and have no idea how to drive in snow. There is a small incline on the highway and people are driving so slow they can't make it up the hill and now the highway is at a standstill and he is stuck in traffic with 1/4 tank of gas. Welcome home sweetie.
I have still been busy listing some fabulous new Czech glass beads on both of my supply websites Tickle Me Beads Etsy and www.ticklemebeads.com. I've got a lot more to list and I will have more shortly of some of the popular ones that have sold out. I don't seem to move fast on getting them listed so keep checking back as every day I at least try to list one or two new ones.
I also want to give a shout out to Beadaholique for sponsoring the glass category this year from Bead Star 2012. My necklace was voted first place (which is a huge thank you to everyone who voted) and I was gifted a very nice gift certificate to their store.
Here is a photo of the winning necklace. I ended up selling this one but if you want to order one, you can find it over on my Etsy store
